Explore the Davis Canal and Marshes

Oak Island is unique because of the beautiful Davis Canal and the winding salt marshes. It is one of the best places in North Carolina for paddling.

We deliver Single and Tandem Kayaks as well as Standup Paddle Boards (SUPs) directly to your rental home. If you are staying on a canal-front property, you can launch right from your backyard dock. If you are ocean-side, we can help you find the nearest launch points to see the herons, egrets, and turtles that call the island home.

Cruise Middleton Park and the Beach Road

With miles of flat, paved roads and designated bike paths along Beach Drive, Oak Island is made for cycling. Skip the traffic and rent our Fat Tire Bicycles or our Electric Beach Cruisers. It’s the perfect way to grab morning donuts, head to Middleton Park for the splash pad, or just feel the ocean breeze. We have sizes for kids and adults, plus cargo trailers to haul the little ones.
