Our Journey Started in 2014
While visiting his grandfather on Oak Island, our founder Nathan Reich wanted to rent a paddle board. Upon not finding a single place that offered delivery, he realized vacationers were missing something crucial: Convenience. PaddleOKI was born.
PaddleOKI launched with a simple goal: bring the gear directly to the customer. Starting with SUPs and kayaks, the inventory quickly grew to include bikes and beach chairs, locals started referring to him around the island as the “kayak guy” and the “bike man.”
Embracing our local reputation, we officially rebranded in 2017 to Mr. Beach Rentals and expanded our service area to cover all the Brunswick Beaches. Today, our dedicated team runs daily routes to bring extraordinary convenience to your vacation.
