Mr. Beach Rentals has two main sales each year and also periodically list other equipment. Our End of Season Sale and Spring Sale offer great deals on used kayaks, paddle boards, surfboards, canoes, bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach carts & more! Items listed as "Not Available" will be available soon and can be reserved in advance. All equipment is used unless noted and in good working condition. Some items may have cosmetic blemishes and its condition will be listed. If you have a question, would like a picture of an item or would like to schedule a pickup at our storage facility, please call or text us at (910) 250-9960.
Delivery is free to Oak Island, Holden Beach and other areas within a few minutes of the beaches.

About Our Used Beach Gear Sale
Why do rental companies purchase used gear from Mr. Beach Rentals?
Every item in our sale fleet has been professionally maintained by the Mr. Beach Rentals team throughout the season. Before being listed for sale, each kayak, paddleboard, and bicycle undergoes a final inspection to ensure it is structurally sound, clean, and ready to be used. These are commercial-grade items built to last, often far superior to the "big box store" versions.
How old are your used bicycles, kayaks and beach gear?
We rotate our equipment regularly to ensure our rental fleet remains consistent in model, color, and quality. Because of this high standard, the gear we sell is often much newer than you might expect.

Experimental Gear: Some items were only used by our team for testing or were part of a small "pilot program" and have seen very little public use.

1-2 Seasons: Most of our bikes are used for just one or two summers before being rotated out for new models or colors as manufacturers change their offerings.

Long-Term Durability: Items like our heavy-duty kayaks are built to last several lifetimes. We typically keep these for about 5 years or until the manufacturer updates the model design.

What condition are your used bicycles in?
Used gear including bicycles can be purchased in a variety of conditions from new, like new, excellent, good, fair, and working. So choose exactly what is best for your needs and budget. All of our equipment including our used bicycles are maintained by a team of mechanics who regularly clean and lubricate the chains, bearings and all the other moving (and not moving) parts. We source products that are built for the beach and our equipment often outlasts equipment that can be purchased new at the "big box stores."
Can I see the equipment before I buy?
Of course. We are available by appointment at our warehouse a few minutes off the island. You can come see and pick out exactly what you want. Give us a call or text at (910) 250-9960 to make an appointment.
Do you offer delivery for purchased equipment?
Yes, we offer complimentary delivery with purchases of used equipment to our service areas which include Holden Beach. Your purchase of used equipment will be delivered by 5pm on the day you choose when buying online. You can also carry it away from our warehouse.
What is your return policy on used sales?
All used equipment is sold "as-is." We price our inventory aggressively to give you a great deal on high-quality gear, so you can enjoy your time on Holden Beach without breaking the bank.
