Summer Kayak & SUP Tours

School is almost out and summer is just around the corner...that means its time for the beach for many of you!

Since day one, our goal at paddleOKI and now as the same great team at Mr. Beach Rentals has been to make outdoor recreation accessible for everyone on Oak Island. We started by delivering kayaks and standup paddle boards right to the water's edge at the lowest possible price making it easy and affordable to experience the island the way so many locals love to. We only did rentals back then but we learned over the years that many people just do not want to go by themselves. So we started offering kayak and SUP tours a few years ago to make sure that everyone had an opportunity to enjoy an Oak Island sunset from the peaceful viewpoint on the waters near Sheep Island.

The feedback from our tours was outstanding so we are happy to announce today the expansion of our tour schedule with new launch sites and more awesome guides with a variety of unique skill sets.

Guided standup paddle board and kayak tours will now start from 39th Place West and paddle into Montgomery Slough. Starting at 10:30AM with beautiful views of the marsh, this tour is one of the best places to kayak or paddle board on Oak Island! Other mid-morning tour locations include Sheep Island, 9th Place East on Little Davis Creek and SE 9th St. on Davis Creek, all with a unique experience to enjoy. Mr. Beach Rentals will continue our famous sunset tour on the west end at the point, paddling around Sheep Island as well as our Davis Creek tour which takes precise planning to experience in its entirety!

Mr. Beach Rentals is also excited to offer private tours and lessons for the first time! Our goal is to leave you with wonderful memories and the knowledge and confidence for you to make outdoor adventures part of your regular routine. Whether learning how to kayak or how to standup paddle board, we are more than excited to teach you everything you need to know.
